Compile/save an indicator with his template

Hi,
is there a way to save (compres or compile) a chart with his indicator and template ?
To get it all at once for every chart.

Hello,

I'm not sure I fully understand you question.

To duplicate a chart please right click within your chart->Templates->Save As->Name the Template->Click Ok.


Next within your new chart right mouse click-->Templates-->Load-->Select your template-->Click Ok.

I mean exporting the indicator with a template.
Or how can i add a template to an export NT archive ?

Hello,

You would need to export the template/indicator separately as the zip file created with the indicator export will not contain templates.

If you are looking to backup all your templates in one file you would do this by going to File -> Utilities -> Backup -> Select the files you wish to backup (In this case templates) and click OK to run the backup

If you are looking to backup (or send) specific templates, they can be found by going to the (My)Documents\NinjaTrader 7\templates folder.

For chart templates: (My)Documents\NinjaTrader 7\templates\Chart

You would then place it in the respective folder on the other computer.

You will not want to include them in the same file if you intend to auto import the indicator. You will need two separate zip files. The templates need to be manually installed or you will need to create a custom installer.
