is there: bar timer that will show bar start time to end in tick chart

Hello, On a tick chart, the time is variable from bar to bat. Therefore the bar timers I have seen do not apply because they are "count downs" for fixed time bars. Is there such an indicator that will display the time count starting with the beginning of bar to the close of the bar or beginning of next bar? Thanks.

Yes, you are correct on your observation. You cannot determine when a tick bar will close and thus a indicator like the BarTimer is not available for tick based charts.

You may however try the TickCounter indicator as an alternative to know when the tick based chart is going to close..

• Right click on the chart
• In the context menu click on Indicators
• Select the TickCounter indicator and click on the New button
• Click Ok to apply it
