currency trading setup

Hi, how can i setup the "Instrument Manager" to trade currency on IB ?
For ex. EUR.USD on the IdealPro from IB.

Hello,

The EURUSD is setup by default in NinjaTrader, but you can change the exchange to "IBIdealPro".

I know how how it works Brett. But i don't see any EURUSD in the Instrument Manager. And when i create one it isn't visible (not added).
This is how i do it from the Instrument Manager:
New->Instrument type:Currency->Master instrument: EUR.USD->Currency:Euro->Exchanges:IBIdealPro->Misc->Symbol map: Interactive Brokers: EUR.USD
That symbol (Underlyng) is what i see on my FXTrader by IB.

Do you not have any currencies listed at all? Please double check you've configured you connection options to trade Forex.

You can do this by going to Tools--> Account Connections--> Highlight your Interactive Brokers connection and select "Change". From the IB account information page, make sure you have "Trade Currencies (FX)" checked and then finish the wizard.

If you needed to change this, please restart NinjaTrader and test again. You should now have the Currency type available in the instrument manager.

Also, if you now have two EURUSD instruments, please delete the custom one you setup as having two instruments mapped to the same symbol may cause some unwanted behavior.
