I want to set an indicator script to fire on every minute boundary....perhaps there is a better way to do this than to wait for data?

Will OnBarUpdate be triggered, say on a 1 minute chart if there are no ticks (no data)
I want to set an indicator script to fire on every minute boundary....perhaps there is a better way to do this than to wait for data?Tags: None

Turtle Trader, if there are no ticks / trades then it would not be triggered. Everything is event based in NT, the opening tick of the new bar is the closing tick of the old / current one.
To fire someting based on time alone, you could look into creating a custom triggered timer event -

Timer on Replay
Hello,
That may work...however, I need the timer to sync with Replay, as well as real time time...does that work, or is the timer based on the motherboard and not the data stream?
