How to shift a cart area to display drawn object

    Hello support and others --

My script draws objects. I made a separate external window form which gather data and when I click on the data of the form the script draws an object on the chart. Some times it draws objects otside visible chart zone.

What is the way to shift the chart visible zone that would object drawn will be visible?

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi Alex_bbfg,

    Thank you for your post.

Do the draw objects have the Autoscale property set to true in the script?

I'm not aware of any supported method that does this function.
Please note that this type of programming is unsupported and would not be able to fully assist.

      Hi Cal,

Autoscale property is not suit for me. If the property is true the chart is shrunk and ti becomes unreadable. My aim is to scroll left or scroll right the chart. NT7 has supported methods to draw objects based on a bar index. It is obvious that the objects can be drawn outside the visible chart zone and the method which scrolls up to the drawn object is much needed.

Morover I can scroll a chart by mouse well, so there should be the method which does it. But I know you said this method is unsupported.

Nevertheless thank you for ane help.

      Regards.

        Alex,

I'm not aware of any unsupported method that accomplishes this.

You might be able to find something with the ChartControl, but again this type coding is unsupported.
However, I do have a thread link that goes over some of the uses of it -

That said I will leave this thread open to see if any of our other forum users have been able to accomplish this task.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.
