    Customize a Moving Average

    Hello,
I want to have a Moving Average of High+Low+Close. I'm testing different alternatives but I cannot found the way,... Is it possible?, any help will be welcome,...

When adding the moving average to your chart select "Typical" as input series.

If you want to call the moving average programmatically, this is also possible. For example you can call a SMA calculated from the typical price as SMA(Typical, period)[0].

      Hello domenech,

      Thank you for your post.

Typical will be (High + Low + Close) / 3, is this what you are looking for? Or just High + Low + Close?

You can find information on Typical at the following link: http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...t7/typical.htm
