Problem with opening a new indicator

A friend of mine that uses NT sent me 3 indicators. 1 loaded fine and the attached 2 do not. Would somebody be good enough to tell me why and how do I load these? He uses them every day. This is my first attempt at using the attachment feature so I hope at least the Dynamic Pivot made it.

    Thank you

    Hi 123r34,

To install that particular indicator you would need to follow these instructions: http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/H...ndicators.html

The indicator you have there is a 3rd party vendor file.

Thanks for getting back to me. I have gotten the indicator sent to me zipped and unzipped. If I take the zip version and use the utilities/import I get a warning of "Import failed, Assembe"DynamicPivots_NT.zip can not be imported: Could not find fileC\Users|Mark|Documents|ninjaTrader6.5\bin|Cust om\Tmp\DynamicPivots_NT.dll'
I unzipped the file. It consists of a .dll and a .cs file. I dropped the .dll into the folder mentioned above and tried the import again. It asks if it should replace the dll file. It doesn't matter if I answer yes or no.
The person that sent me this indicator uses it every day.

Any ideas of what I might be doing wrong?

Drop the cs into your \My Documents\NinjaTrader 6.5\bin\Custom\Indicator folder. Then drop the dll into the \My Documents\NinjaTrader 6.5\bin\Custom folder.

Open NinjaTrader->Tools->Edit NinjaScript->Open up the DynamicPivots file.
        Right click->references->add the dll
then compile the indicator with F5.

I fugured it out. They had called the indicator DynamicPivots but it actually was called CMO in the indicator list. I did have to use the reference function to add it.

          Thanks for your time

            Hi 123r34 !

I figured it out, too. Reason why NT couldn't import it, was that it was exported as 'DynamicPivots', the filename was changed afterwards to 'DynamicPivots_NT.zip'. This is currentliy not supported.

If you rename the archive back to 'DynamicPivots.zip' (same name as the filenames without extension inside the archive), everything works well.

            Kind regards,
            Christian

              Thank you Christian.

I have another indicator to load so that will save a few steps.
