Double Smoothing EMA

Hello,

I hope this is the good place to post this question. I am looking for the indicator which will group 2 EMA into one, for example a fast 5 EMA and a slower one of 15. I tried the Double MA available on this site, but there seems to be some faults in it and it corrupts the general ninja scripting and generate compiling errors.

Do you know if there is an indicator which will group under a same line the crossover of 5 and 15 EMA. Its generally called a Double Smoothing MA.

Hi,

There are Double MA Multi Colored and Double EMA indicators on our forum.

I was able to import both of these successfully.

Critical *Note that on any files that say "File already exists on your PC" that start with an "@" symbol are the ones that came preloaded inside of NinjaTrader so you would say "No" so that you do not override those files.

Did you overwrite any files by clicking yes when importing this script?



You may have already had compile errors before trying to import this indicator. Are you able to import any other indicators?

Many thanks for your answer. Concerning the compile errors, dont worrry I resolved that, I identified which Indicator caused that issue, and I deleted it.

But the DOUBLE MA COLOURED you stated, indeed, normally it should work, but I dont get anything with the settings I am putting. Normally I am expecting a line, grouping these 2 EMA's and on top of that, I would want to add, one DOUBLE MA based on the high and another one based on the low. Normally, I should just change the Input Series to High and Low. But as its not even working for the close, I might be something wrong.

Sorry I am very new to NinjaTrader settings.

I am attaching a file on the settings I am using and may be you will figure out what's going wrong with that.

Hi AGT,

The issue is that this indicator was designed for NinjaTrader 6.5.

I've made a modification to make this work with NT 7. Let me know if I have caused any bugs by doing this.

Follow these steps to import the NinjaScript:

1. Download the script to your desktop, keep it in the compressed .zip file.
2. From the Control Center window select the menu File > Utilities > Import NinjaScript
3. Select the downloaded .zip file
4. NinjaTrader will then confirm if the import has been successful.
