    Difficulty importing the VWAP indicator

    Hi there,

I would like to import a VWAP indicator to Ninja, so I downloaded the VWAP indicator from this site: http://www.greattradingsystems.com/V...raderindicator.

I then proceeded to import the script using File> Utility>Import Ninja Script> . then when I go to the VWAP folder that I saved to my desktop, the cs file is not displayed.

    What does this mean?

    I am running version 7.0.1000.21

    Thanks for the help,

    TMNT

If the import was successful the indicator should show up in the indicator icon drop down list on any chart.

Re-reading your initial post it looks like you are saying you started the import process but stopped when you couldn't find the "cs" file. If that is the case then understand that the import process expects you to navigate to the zip file. Ninja trader works only with zip files for import/export. So I think you just need to back up a level in the browser. Hope this helps.

        Hello TMNT,

        Thank you for your post.

Yes, you would need to import the .Zip file that you downloaded from the website into NinjaTrader.

        To Import

        * Download the indicator to your desktop, keep them in the compressed .zip file.
        * From the Control Center window select the menu File> Utilities> Import NinjaScript
        * Select the downloaded .zip file
        * NinjaTrader will then confirm if the import has been successful.

Critical - Specifically for some indicators, it will prompt that you are running newer versions of @SMA, @EMA, etc. and ask if you want to replace, press 'No'

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.
