    TickSize

The Help section explains that TickSize is "A double value that represents the minimum fluctuation of an instrument."

I am confused whether to use a "+" or a "-", or whether it depends on where I used it.

Let's say I want to have a triangleUp or Down drawn in the chart where the EMA 20 is. Except when it goes up/long I want it 1 tick below the EMA20. When it goes down/short I want the triangle 1 tick above the EMA 20. What is the proper way?

    Long: EMA(20)[0] - 1 * TickSize or EMA(20)[0] + - 1 * TickSize

    Short: EMA(20)[0] + 1 * TickSize

    Hello Sandman,

You would use '-' for when you want to subject the Y-value of the triangle and '+' for when you want to add to the Y-value

    Long: EMA(20)[0] - 1 * TickSize

    Short: EMA(20)[0] + 1 * TickSize
