    TTm Trend

    Hi Guys,

Do you know if anyone has currently developed & released an indicator based on the TTM-Trend (by John Carter and Hubert Senters)....? If so could you point me to it...?

If not, I'm happy to write one and distribute it on your forums. In terms of repainting bars on a candlestick chart, what code would you point me to...? I've been looking at your Heiken-Ashi code today. But I'm not really sure what ChartControl does and can't any find any reference material on your on-line guide... again perhaps you could point me somewhere...?

    Many Thanks

Sorry, don't know of the top of my head. Did you check the indicators on the file sharing section? http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/v...ks.php?catid=1

      Yes Dierk. Couldn't see anything.

It's ok. Should be easy to write once I get a grip on repainting candlesticks on a chart. Anything you point me to as per my post below...?

TTM Trend is copyright material. I believe TTM is working on their own version for NT that you can purchase when it is available.

I was wondering if there are any heiken ashi variations on the board that rather than just plot a HA candle it actually paints the real ohlc bar/candle the colour the HA would be.

I find the versions where you have both price and an ha candle a bit too cluttered and the ones which change the actual bar means that you can not see where price actually traded during the bar as the indicators like the mod HA have different bodies and wicks to the real price bar.

So if you know of any can you point me in the right direction please.

Just to add i guess it would look like a TTM or Vmax candle but I am not really trying to create those ...the ha calculation would be fine.

                      Hooya,

What is publicly available is generally shared in the File Sharing section of our forums. Please try searching in there for something suitable.

couldn't seem to find anything on search hence my post in this thread. Should I post my previous posts in that section or are they just as likely to be viewed in this section. I am sure someone would have converted an HA in this way before...it's just a question of finding that person:-)

Since you are looking to keep the original shape of candles or OHLC bars, here is a recent discussion with attached code you could easily adapt to the purpose.

Thanks. I haven't even begun to look at how to code indicators but I guess if I can't find the indie I will have to :0)

                              Thanks again.
