Extracting Bar Values from 1 DataSeries and Display in another DataSeries

    Hi NT Support,

So I have 2 charts open of the same instrument...they are just different DataSeries.

One chart is a 15 minute chart...the second chart is a 240Tick chart.

From the 15 minute chart...I would like to pull the BarHigh and BarLow...and then display each of these values as a 50 pixel line into my 240Tick chart.

So essentially my question is how to pull values from 1 dataseries chart...and then display the values into the second dataseries chart.

    Thank you.

Your idea is pretty similar to the purpose of my indicator Timeframe Overlay: http://ninza.co/product/timeframe-overlay

Spyder, please as an example my screenshot attached - it uses a multi series chart with your 2 series and then displays the 15 overlaid on the 240T as Box style, so you can easily the high / low series values. This would be one way to achieve it, however without a programmatic solution like the mentioned study from ninza you would have to use non equidistant bars spacing.

Thank you Bertrand and NinZa, I will look into this solution, and will also review NinZa product offerings.
@ninZa - do your indicators work on non supported custom data series?
Or only the built in contained in NT?

            Hi Bertrand,
Can you explain how you setup Box style and also got it into 1 panel?
When I try to load 2 data series...it populates them in 2 separate panels.
            Attaching the screenshot.

****EDIT: let me clarify what you are looking at in my screenshot.
This is Renko dataseries that I want to use as the "Box" and then a 1 minute chart inside the "boxes"

I uploaded a second screenshot as well after I figured out how to combine both into 1 panel...but I don't think this is how its supposed to look.

SpyderTrader, looks correct to me, the Renkos would already show as box style. You need to consider the effect will be likely less visually appealing the more the same # of bars the series would have, as it will be hard to visually separate the series then. You can always try to work with the individual color options for the up / dn bars and ZOrder, meaning you can change which series should be plotted on top. Just select one series and hold Shift pressed while you scroll the mouse wheel.
