    Volume Profile

    The Volume Profile that comes with ninja trader is great, but it only loads forward data. I am trying to find a way to make it load previous on-screen data.

      Volume Profile

      Dear Ninjatrader,

      I am using the volume profile. However, when I leave it one for more than 1 trading day session, it seems that the volume profile stops accumulating?

      It just stagnates at the old levels and when i scroll to the new price levels it just jumps up (the same volume profile from previous session) to the new price levels.

      Does this mean I have to reload every new trading day? I would like to keep the old volume profiles as a guide to previous levels (this disappears when reload).

        Thank you for your post.

        You should not need to reload the data to "referesh" the volume profile indicator. So I may investigate this matter further please answer the following questions.
        • What version of NinjaTrader are you using? You can check under Help -> About (Example: 7.0.1000.31)
        • Who are you connected to? This is displayed by green on lower left corner of the Control Center window.
        • What instrument(s) have you selected? If a futures instrument, what expiry is selected? (Example: ES 06-13)
        • What interval is selected for your chart(s)? (Example: Tick, Minute, Day, etc.)
        • Do you receive an error on screen? Are there errors on the Log tab of the Control Center? If so, what do these errors report?

          Hi Patrick,

          I am using Ninjatrader 8

          Connected to Continuum Live Data with ninjatrader brokerage.

          This happens on my YM 06-16 and CL 05-16.

          I use Renko 6, 200 Tick and 400 tick charts.

          There is no error message on screen.
