Indicator to Scanner

Hi all!!!

So, I'm wondering if there is a way to turn an indicator into a scanner in NT? I've got 2 indicators (BIG thanks to everyone that helped with those) and I'd like to be able to run them against a list of stocks and have NT report back which stocks trip the indicators. This way I can focus on those specific stocks instead of the full list of about 100.

Thanks for posting today.

This would best be done using the Market Analyzer. If you have the instruments in an instrument list you can load all of them and then add an indicator column with alerts.

To accomplish this follow these steps:

• From the Control Center>File>New>Market Analyzer
• Right mouse click and select Add Instrument List
• Select the instrument list you would like to load
• Right mouse click and select Columns...
• From inside the Columns menu select the Indicator to add a column for it
• From the Indicator>Indicator section Select the indicator you wish to use
• From the Special section select Alert Conditions
• Set your Alert Conditions and left mouse click OK to close this window
• Left mouse click OK to close the Columns

You now will have alerts set up that will trigger and show on the market analyzer. You can use this to track which stocks are triggering these alerts.
