Fxcm usdollar

I have ninjatrader using fxcm(UK) USDDOLLAR data working fine in real-time.

My son has the same setup but his USDOLLLAR chart doesn't up-date in real-time

(his fxcm USDOLLAR chart is ok)

any ideas?

Can you please check the items listed at the link below which can explain why charts do not receive realtime data.

Check if 'End date' is set to today's date in the Data Series menu of the chart as well.

If the issue remains, please try the following. Disconnect FXCM and go to Control Center-->Tools-->Options-->Data-tab and click Reset Instruments. Restart NinjaTrader and check if realtime data is received for the USDOLLAR.

ok thanks. did all that but USDOLLAR still not updating.

This is a new fxcm account.

1 minute USDOLLAR updates on fxcm chart but not on NinjaTrader chart.

works ok when connected to old fxcm account but not the new one.

Does your son have a FXCM UK based account like you?

If your son uses your FXCM connection on his computer, does he receive realtime data for the USDOLLAR?

If your son selects the USDOLLAR in the Control Center-->Orders-tab, does he receive realtime data?

both accounts are fxcm(uk).

new account does not receive USDOLLAR real-time.

fixed it.

hedging was enabled on the new account. this was allowing real-time data for currency pairs but not USDOLLAR.

disabled using myfxcm.com > hedging functionality.
