    Month & Week Period type

I am calculating pivots. I have been hour pivots, day pivots and even 8 hour pivots. Now I want to do week and month. I have been using Add(PeriodType.Day,1). I tried to just replace Day with Week and Month, but is this correct? It seems these are not correct period types, so wanted to make sure.

(I tried to find example code, but did not have much luck)

    Thanks!

    Hello stearno,

    Thank you for your post.

You can view the Pivots code under Tools > Edit NinjaScript > Indicator > Pivots.

Week and Month are based on the Day data type. You will notice there are only three base data types, Tick, Minute and Day. While adding Week or Month may work you can look to the Pivots code for examples on checking the PivotRangeType of Daily, Weekly or Monthly.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks for the reply. I ended up just using the minute and day period and changing the code accordingly.

Thanks for letting me know about the the pivot code. In looking at that example code, and will learn how to use it accordingly.
