Indicator that plots " Acual " P/L in cents and dollars....

    Good Afternoon,
I am going to try and word this as best as possible, and hopefully not confuse everybody ( including myself ) lol
What I am looking for, is a way to toggle up and down on my charts by either using my CrossHair or something similar that will ...... show me in actual Dollar and Cent amounts, what the Risk will be if I were to place my stop at certain price points.
With trading the Futures, some of the contracts are calculated down to the smallest of increments ( .001 and .01 cent ).... such as RBOB , Heating Oil , Natural Gas , Ethanol and Copper
a .001 cent move on both RBOB and Heating Oil is $42 ...... change it to .01 cents, and that's a $420 risk ( quite large, depending on account size of course )
I would like to be able to know these totals with the simplicity of moving my mouse ( crosshair ) above and below my entries , and know what my Actual Risk will be in cents and dollars, if I were to place my stop at various price points.
Trying to save myself some Calculator time you could say
Any help would be much appreciated
    Thanks - Michael

    Hello mdsvtr,

    Thank you for your post.

This is not available in NinjaTrader 7, but will be available as the Risk Reward drawing tool in NinjaTrader 8. You can find a list of the major enhancements at the following link: http://www.ninjatrader.com/downloads...njaTrader8.pdf

Please let me know if I may be of further assistance.

      Hi Patrick, thanks so much

Having this type of tool , that plots the Risk / Reward in actual dollar amounts, will definitely help traders such as myself in knowing what the risk will be in Real dollars, if I were to place a stop at X

      Thanks again - Michael

        Hi Patrick,
I wanted to ask you please...... Do these P/L numbers on the Dom " plot " the actual P/L via each price level , only during Live trading , or can you see the P/L plotted right next to each price ..... even when the market is closed ( after hours ) ?

Again, Thanks for all of your help - Michael

          Hello mdsvtr,

          Thank you for your post.

You can right click in your SuperDOM > select Properties > and then enable the option 'Show Realized PnL When Flat' > OK.

              Hi Patrick

I set it to True " 'Show Realized PnL When Flat "

But even when I did, it still didn't bring up the screen that shows the PnL ( as show in the attached screenshot )

Could this be because It is on a Demo account, and or because of which data feed I may be using to connect with ?

Thanks again for helping me out ,
              I appreciate it

                Hello mdsvtr,

                Thank you for your patience.

PnL Column in the NinjaTrader 8 SuperDOM will display the PnL for each level while the trade is open. If the trade remains open after hours, then it would still show the values.

                  Hi Patrick,
                  Great news,
                  I appreciate your reply

That's where my confusion with not being able to find it was coming from,
was the fact that I had NT 7 downloaded , and was not aware that it was not available in NT 7, but that it will be in NT 8

As a quick side note .... Is there any update as to when NT will most likely be released ?
I know it is currently in beta phase correct ?

                  Thanks so much - Michael

                    Hello mdsvtr,

Correct, it is in Beta at this time. There is no word on a release date at this time.
