    Hello hozman,

    Thank you for your post.

A Line is a single value, where a Plot holds multiple objects as it is a DataSeries. These cannot replace each other.

Hm. And why in standart indicator DEMA using plot, although in it drawing only one line, and accordingly calculated from one solid value....

        Hello hozman,

        Thank you for your response.

A Plot will be drawn as a line connecting each point to each. This is not the same thing as the Line Class.

You can see an example if you go to Tools > Edit NinjaScript > Indicator > RSI. The RSI has two plots and two lines used. You will notice the Lines use a static value.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
