Indicator that uses an external library

    Hello:

I am creating an inidcator that uses a library which I managed to convert from framework 4 to Framework 3.5. Compiles well, but when trying to load the indicator it gives me an error failed to ' initialize' the indicator: the dll cannot be found.
I put the library inside the 'custom' folder of ninjatrader. Also, re started ninjatrader, and I keep getting the same error. Could anyone here point me on other things I can try?

    thank you...

    Hello Yandychang,

    Thank you for your post.

Have you added a reference to the .dll file by right clicking in your NinjaScript Editor > selecting References > Add > and then your file?

Have you tried adding the .dll to the declarations at the top of your NinjaScript file?

      Reference

I added the reference, and called the namespaces, but I did not add the dll on top of the script. Can you point me to an example?

      Thank you

        Hello Yandychang,

        Thank you for your response.

        Attached is an example.

If adding this does not correct the matter, please write to platformsupport[at]ninjatrader[dot]com and reference this thread, we can then schedule a support call to look into this further.
