    instrument name & expiry

    Hi, from an indicator, how do I access the the instrument name and expiry (eg., "CL 10-15")?

    #2
    Hello,

    If you are asking for the instrument where the indicator is loaded, that would be:

    Code:
    Instrument.FullName
    if you loaded this on an ES 09-15 chart, the result would be: ES 09-15

    I look forward to being of further assistance.

        Hello,

        Instrument.FullName is the syntax you would use.

        Code:
        Print(Instrument.FullName);
        I look forward to being of further assistance.
