    Hi there,
As I understand you need to convert audio file to txt? I faced it last time when I prepare some exercises for my students in college. It's when you have some podcasts in M4A and you need to get text from this podcast. Yep, there are few ways how to do it and one of them is writing listening to a podcast. But it's difficult, isn't it? Easier to use this audext.com service and make all you need in 10 minutes)

You can also use http://www.text2speech.org/ to output WAV files without the extra step of conversion, but the quality is not as crisp as http://www.fromtexttospeech.com/

Text-To-Speech WAV Sound Files For Free

HOW TO MAKE TEXT-TO-SPEECH FILES FOR FREE FOR NT7 ALERTS

Using a two-stage process, you can get text to speech (free) that works a treat. I've used it and the sound alerts work fine in NT7.

    Firstly, go here:

    http://www.fromtexttospeech.com/

    Experiment with

    - Select language

    - Select voice (I've found the 'Heather' voice is very clear)

    - Select speed

    You end up downloading MP3s.

You need to convert these to WAV format, and this can be done, again free, here:

    http://audio.online-convert.com/convert-to-wav

This certainly works. Sometimes the sites can take a few moments (or more) to do the 'recording'.

(I've copied this over from another thread.)
