    Market Analyzer Programming

I am creating indicators specifically for the Market Analyzer. How do I programmatically format the background cell color and the plotted value color?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hello Hawk Arps,

Thank you for writing in. This is not currently possible in NinjaTrader 7. Please see the following post: http://ninjatrader.com/support/forum...ad.php?t=21421
I have added a vote on your behalf for these features to be implemented.

I will check if this is possible in NinjaTrader 8 and follow up on this post once I have further information.

Thank you for your continued patience in the meantime.

        Hello Hawk Arps,

I have confirmed that this behavior is currently still the same in NinjaTrader 8.

There is no way to programmatically format the background cell color and the plotted value color because the cell is an internal component of the MarketAnalyzer which is not exposed.

The previous way of accomplishing this in NinjaTrader 7 was to code your indicator in such a way that you could easily configure cell conditions in the Market Analyzer to adjust the cell background etc based on the indicator values.

I will update this post if and when I get further information on your feature request.

Please let me know if I may be of further assistance anytime.
