    indicator using mano instruments

I am planing to create an indicator which Will use 2 options séries from different exercises dates for a particular stock.
so, I think I will have to ADD 25 instruments per exercise date date, which Will sum up 50 instruments, in total.
is there any limit in the number of instruments we can add per strategy?
Is there any operational catch in adding that much number of instruments?

There aren't any limits - but any limit would be related to your hardware capacity and network location or data provider...

There's been more than a few Euro peoples with issues of LAG during high volume ES action lately.. and with me being in the states - I obsevered at least 15 seconds lag during such heavy action compared to ThinkOrSwim from TDA...

So let's discuss your network bandwith, cpu/computer and general location?...

So you should create your strategy, and test it in SIM101 mode... to see if it can even handle it.

      Hello dafonseca,

      Thanks for your post.

As member sledge has commented it would be more a matter of acceptable performance. Creating the strategy and testing in sim101 is a good plan.
