    Plot, Type=Bar, Offset X position?

    is there a parameter to apply to the plot object when type is bar, to move the x position to the left or right?

    therefore a second plot object can be added, and it can be offset a numerical value, to position it to the side of the first plot object.

    a generic image is attached showing the desired concept

    Hello balltrader,

    Thank you for your note.

    With Plots alone you could not do this. With custom plotting you could.
    You can find an example under Tools > Edit NinjaScript > Indicator > CustomPlotSample.

    Please let me know if you have any questions.

      In that example, when is the plot() method being called, since there is no plot object inside Initialize() and no set instructions inside OnBarUpdate?

      is there a sequence of events that happen inside ninjatrader? i.e.
      - Initialize()
      - OnStartUp()
      - OnBarUpdate()
      - Plot() - is plot method called after each tick update, and you can overload it with your own method named plot()?
      - OnTermination()
      - Configuration() - when values are changed and private vars are get set

      is any of this documented in a secret cave for 3rd party developers?

        Hello balltrader,

        Thank you for your response.

        There is no documentation on Plot override. There is only the sample. Plot is called independent of OnBarUpdate(), so when ever the chart plots. Take a look at Pivots for an example of an indicator that uses Plot override.

        In NinjaTrader 8 the equivalent of Plot is OnRender and this is documented: http://ninjatrader.com/support/helpG...s/onrender.htm
