    Changing an indicator

I have an indicator that sometimes print the word "Maximaal" on my screen.

I want to change this word into German.

    The original ZIP-file consist of a .dll-file

    a) First of all: in what programming language is this Ninja-indicator (and all the others) build?
    b) Do I need a general programmer in this language or do I need an specific Ninja Trader programmer to change this?
    c) Can I program this myself (I have no experience whatsoever...)

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello Gerard111,

    Thank you for writing in.

NinjaScript is based on the C# programming language.

It looks like this indicator file you are using is a protected assembly. Unfortunately, you would not be able to modify it.

I would suggest contacting the vendor to see if they would be able to modify the printed words for you.

Please, let us know if we may be of further assistance.

      Thanks so much, Zachary.

One question: how do you know for sure it is protected?

      Regards,

        Hello Gerard111,

ZIP files containing a .dll is usually an assembly.

To verify, try to edit the indicator from within the Tools -> Edit NinjaScript -> Indicator menu. If you are unable to find the indicator from within this menu, then this would denote that you would be unable to modify it.
