    Can results of two indicators be called?

    Is there a way for an indicator to see the results of other indicators and create new results?

    Please point me in the right direction so I can research this.

    Thank you.

    Hello imalil,

    Thanks for your post.

    One possible solution would be to write the results of the indicators to a data file and read the results. Here are some examples of read and write to a data file:

      I just want to be clear as to what I'm asking before I dig into this streamreader:

      We have two indicators that give: indicatorAvalue, indicatorBvalue
      Can I do something like:
      if (indicatorAvalue / indicatorBvalue) > 100
      { do something }

      Is this possible?
      Thank you.

        That is the purpose of public properties: they are exposed for access by other classes. Create your indicator object, then read the property of that object that you want to handle.

          Hello imalil,

          To follow on member koganams suggestion, here is a link to an example of exposing indicator values that are not plots: http://ninjatrader.com/support/forum...ead.php?t=4991
