    Input Series

    part of stochastics codes is shown below:

    nom.Set(Close[0] - MIN(Low, PeriodK)[0]);
    den.Set(MAX(High, PeriodK)[0] - MIN(Low, PeriodK)[0]);

    If we let ema(14) as input series of a default stochastics
    stochastics a=stochastics(ema(14), 35);
    then, the Close[0] is the Value[0] of ema(14)
    Low[0] is the Value[0] of ema(14)
    High[0] is the Value[0] of ema(14).

    Am I right? The Close, Low and High are not the values from original series, are they?

    Another question is what is the difference between Input and Close?

    Hello microsat,

    Thank you for your post.

    Correct, when an indicator is used as the Input Series it only has it's one value (or selected plot if the indicator has multiple) that is used for OHLC.
    Another question is what is the difference between Input and Close?
    Close is the actual bar series the indicator(s) are applied to and it represents the close price of the referenced bar. Input is the Input Series selected in the Indicator settings menu.

    Please let me know if you have any questions.
