Chart bars redraw

Hello Support --

I have some problem, please help!

I use 1440 minutes time frame for dayly chart, but the chart does not draw previouse day correctly and I have to use "Reload all historical data" each day for each instrument to get correct previouse day bar. I attached the screens befor and after to show what I mean.

I made a script which uses SendKeys method for hot keys of "Reload all historical data" but it takes a lot of time. I monitor more the 30 instruments.

Is there any method which redraw the bars on the chart wthout of reloadining all histroical data?

So I may investigate this matter further please answer the following questions.

• What version of NinjaTrader are you using? You can check under Help -> About (Example: 7.0.1000.X)
• Who are you connected to? This is displayed by green on lower left corner of the Control Center window.
• What instrument(s) have you selected? If a futures instrument, what expiry is selected? (Example: ES 06-13)
• What interval is selected for your chart(s)? (Example: Tick, Minute, Day, etc.)

Here are answeres on your questions

- 7.0.1000.31
- Rithmic for Ninja Trader Brokerage
- 6A 03-16 Globex is on the screens. I trade futures more then 30 each of them has the problem. I trade the actual contract which the NT7 oferes in Instrument Manager
- all my charts are in Minutes. The problem is with 1440 minute chart

what is about the method which redraw the bars on a chart?

Hello,
There is not a method to reload historical data in NinjaScript.
It sounds like there may be something caught in the DB cache that is causing this.
To troubleshoot further please cleare your cache
shut down NinjaTrader 7
Navigate to the (My) Documents> NinjaTrader 7 > db > Cache folder
Delete the contents of the Cache folder
Restart Ninjatrader 7

thank you for the reply.

It does not work. I cleared the cash folder yesterday, today result for the same 6A 03-16 in attachment.

I do not ask about method to reload historical data, I use SendKeys method with hot key for "Reload Historical Data" and it works but very slowly.

I asked for method to redraw bars on a chart. It must be, because the bars are redrawn somehow when I use reload all historical data.

Cody was mentioning that NinjaTrader 7 should be automatically downloading any missing data.
There is an option for this in Tools -> Options... -> Data -> Get data from server (if available)
Is this currently checked on your system?
