Moving averages not affected by gaps.
Is there a way to show moving averages for just that particular day? Moving averages that are not affected by the gaps that the markets produce in the morning? TIATags: None

Hello optiontrader,
Thank you for your post.
This would require only loading the data for that day or creating a custom indicator that only calculates averages for each day starting on the first bar of the session.
To only load data for one day right click in the chart > select Data Series > Days To Load > 1.
To create a custom indicator you would need to build it in NinjaScript which is NinjaTrader's programming language based on C#. For information on creating indicators please visit the following link: http://ninjatrader.com/support/helpG...indicators.htm
For checking the first bar of the session you would use Bars.FirstBarOfSession: http://ninjatrader.com/support/helpG...rofsession.htm
Please let me know if you have any questions.
