Use case: I have classes that are not supposed to be used directly on a chart: only called. I want any such indicator to remove itself from the chart, after a popup telling the user that the indicator cannot be used in that manner.

NinjaScript for self removal?
Before I start another deep dig fishing expedition into NT, is there a way in NinjaScript for an indicator to remove itself from a chart.
Use case: I have classes that are not supposed to be used directly on a chart: only called. I want any such indicator to remove itself from the chart, after a popup telling the user that the indicator cannot be used in that manner.Tags: None

Hello koganam,
I have submitted a feature request to the product management team for the following feature :
This user would like indicators and strategies to be able to optionally remove themselves from charts completely.I will follow up with more information as soon as it's available. If the feature requests already exists, a vote will be added to it.
Presumably, should this feature be added, it would not preclude an Alert being added via this method.
Please let us know if there are any other ways we can help.Jessica P.NinjaTrader Customer Service
