How to access historical bars from replay connection

Hello Support Forum,

NT7 question (customers are mostly staying on 7 until 8 is officially released).

I'm trying to get an indicator to use data from previous sessions.

It works fine on any connection except the replay. I can see the bars on my chart, but the indicator can't seem to see them.

Any ideas how to get around this? I've tried using Data.Bars.GetBars(). That is able to get me the information from previous sessions, but my indicator doesn't pass through the session changes prior to where I started the replay playback so I get nothing until the replay passes through a session change. This really defeats the usefulness of replay.

Thank you for writing in.

As a test, try plotting the PriorDayOHLC indicator on your chart in Market Replay. Is the PriorDayOHLC indicator unable to plot the prior session open, high, low, and close values?

These values would be pulled from a previous session.

Can you provide a sample script showing the behavior that you're seeing where it cannot access data from previous sessions?
