    How to use two timeseries for one indicator?

    I mean data of two symbols?

    I thought maybe there is something within the following tutorial:

    Level 4 - Demonstrating the use of IndicatorSeries objects to retain historical custom calculations data series

    but this tutorial has not been written yet.

    Any help appreciated!

    This is not supported. In NT6, this muti time frame and instruments will be supported in a strategies for automated trading.

    In essence, you can code an indicator internal to a strategy that will execute orders. You can do things like:

    if (SMA(ES, 5M, 20) > SMA(YM, 15M, 20))
    BuyMarket();

    etc...

    This will out in beta late July.

    Ray

    I will add the request to support this at the indicator level for future consideration.

      I'm trying to use data from lower/higher time frames in my chart indicator, is there a way to do this? Higher could be constructed manually. Being able to use e.g. SMA's as described would be sufficient. Thanks

        Sorry Rollins. This is currently not doable with a chart indicator. You can do multi-time framed work in strategies though.
