I was hoping that updating intrabar would give the yellow 't' which it does but not also outline the up/down bars.
Updating on bar close was already doing what I wanted at the close and not outlining up/down but a temporary doji was just a vertical line with no horizontal.

Thanks, I didn't load it until today but because of an unrelated paintbar indicator I am able to see that it outlines every bar its own color--violet or lime including wicks which is interesting.
Is there a way to on bar close print the doji at a thickness of 2 not 1 but not affect the other candles that aren't dojis? If it has to do it intrabar I guess that would be ok.

I hate fact that there are no yellow dojis on my chart. All I see is a vertical wick where the yellow doji should be. I'm trying to get this indicator into NT8. Should I change anything in the code for NT8? Also, how do I import it? Does this load like an indicator? Thanks SO much.

This would be a simple indicator to create. You could take the logic for a Doji directly from the CandlestickPattern indicator and apply it to your own.
