    Need help with NT7 abending.

    Hi - NT7 is barfing on a more and more frequent basis during the trading day. Here's the problem details section from the most recent event. Any ideas? I'm running Win7Pro and my platform hasn't changed much in the last two years. However, the abends are now occurring almost every day; today, 3 times.

    Thanks for your post.

    I'd like to see your log and trace files. Please send me a note to platformsupport (at) ninjatrader (dot) com. Attach your most current log and trace files to the email, and put a link to this forum post in the body of the email. Please note "ATTN: Drew" in the body of the response.

    You will find the log file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Log folder.

    The log file will be named "log.20170720.txt"

    You will find the trace file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.

    The trace file will be named "trace.20170720.txt"

      Done. I slipped up and put ATTN: Drew in the subject line, but do have 'Drew' in the body, along with the url.

        Drew, status:

        * I tried the DB repair option you mentioned in your note to me and it seemed to work fine.

        * Since then, I've noticed my charts load up quicker when I crank up NT7, which leads me to believe some sort of data retrieval glitch may have been fixed(good ).

        * As I mentioned in my note to you, I'm running an unusually high number of charts, so the DB fix would be very important, if that was the basis of the problem.

        One day doesn't make a trend, but NT7 has been running just fine today. I'll get back to you later this week if I continue to encounter problems, but for now, I'm pleased that it's running better than last week.
