    Not able to establish server connection

    hello,

      Hello,


      Please shut down NinjaTrader then go into your security settings and allow NinjaTrader to access the internet.

      If this does not resolve the issue please let me know.

        Hello Max.D,

        Upon reviewing your trace file you will need to uninstall/reinstall .NET. Please see the instructions below.

        -Terminate any applications running on your PC
        -Go to the Windows Control Panel
        -"Add/Remove programs" for XP users or "Uninstall a program" for Vista users
        -Locate Microsoft .NET Version 2.0 and uninstall
        -Re-install .NET 2.0 at the link below.


        Note: Do not reboot your PC in between these steps as this can potentially create more issues that we are unfortunately not qualified to assist with.

          Same Problem

          I am having the same problem

          I have uninstalled and reinstalled .NET

          Still cannot onnect to license servers. Someone in the chat room emntioned there coud be any issue with a JAVA update but I cannot find the thread.

          Meanwhile unable to connect

            Could you please check for software, such as (corporate) firewalls, pop up blockers and anti-virus software, that could be interferring with the connection.

            If you use a router in your internet connection setup, please connect your computer directly to your modem, bypassing the router, and check if this will allow you to connect to the license server.

              This is the same configuration I have had for 2 years on this computer nothing has changed OTHER than an XP service pack upgrade
              I am usng the same router, fire wall, antivirus that I have been

                Hello,

                Which version of .NET do you have installed? If you have 2.0 installed please use the link that was posted in post #4 below.

                If you have .NET 3.5 installed please use this link to go back to 2.0:

                  I uninstalled it and reinstalled 2.0 from the link you provided

                      Microsoft firewall and Kaspersky are both set to allow NinjaTrader
                      Like I said have changed nothing.... this configuration has been working for 2 years until this morning

                        Hello,

                        Please send your log and trace files to support at ninjatrader dot com "attn: Ben" and reference this discussion. Also, include the license key you have entered in Help>License key in the email.
