    EMD contract data?

Using IQFeed and not getting data for EMD 200809. Get an "invalid symbol" error when trying the 200812.

Looking at data in other software, it seems to be coming from DTN.

I was able to see some data for the 09-08, but not the 12-08.

Are you able to get any data when you select the 09-08 in the Control Center?

Can you please remove the EMD from your instrument list in the Instrument manager. Go to Tools-->Options-->Misc-tab and click Reset Instruments. Add the EMD back to your list and check if the issue persists.

I have performed those steps and am still not getting data for EMD.

Is NT translating to @EMD# or @EMDU8?

The mapping should be @MD. I have included a screen shot.

If I look this up on the iqfeed website, I show that it should be @EMDU8. I would attach an image but.... does not look like there is an easy way to do that.

And making that change (now that I see that I can edit that mapping) fixes the problem.

Randy, I had the same situation.

I went to Tools/Instrument manager then searched for "EMD". Then, selected Edit, and then selected the Misc. tab near the top. I then changed the symbol in that window, just to the right of IQFeed, to "@EMD". If I recall correctly, it was just @MD or maybe it was just "EMD" with no "@", I forget now. I do know that I modified a symbol for IQFeed to read exactly as "@EMD" though, and I am now able to view that emini market with no problem.

It worked for me, I hope it is helpful for you too.
