    Lost all live charting capability

I've just lost all live charting capability.

What've tried to fix the problem:
    1) I've read Dierk's "What to do" post and none of those issues seem to apply.
    2) I've tried restarting the PC and NT twice.
    3) I've tried using the TT FIX data feed and IQFeed's data feed independently and I get the same error message for each.
    4) I've tried to chart several different instruments without success.

    The error message:
I get the same error message with each attempt. The following is the error message in NinjaTrader:

    Message:
"Error on loading chart data for '6E 09-08 Globex'. Error on loading chart data for '6E 09-08 Globex'. The provider could not determine the Object value. For example, the row was just created, the default for the Object column was not available, and the consumer had not yet set a new Object value."

    5) Please advise as to how to regain charting capabilities in NinjaTrader.

    Hello,

Do you get the same error when you close out all workspaces (File>workspaces>close) and pull up a new chart with no indicators or templates?

Are you using the Pivot indicator? If so, change the indicator parameter PirorDayHLC to CalcFromInterdayData.

Also, are you using any 3rd party software with NinjaTrader? If so, retest without it.

      Ben,
Responding in order to your questions:
      1) Yes.
      2) No.
      3) I've tried this. That is, just trying to plot raw data w/o indicators but haven't had any success.

      4) I think the problem may be that certain historical data is corrputed. I mention this b/c I just found that I'm able to chart instruments that weren't open during my previous session. By deleting the entire data file for a particular instrument from the last session, selecting repair DB, and reloading my historical data, it appears that I've resolved the problem.

So, it looks like several instruments have now had their historical data corrupted but at least the problem looks fixable. I'll let you know if I run into problems again.

      Thanks,
      Lou
