Failed to download NinjaTrader from setup.exe

    Failed to download NinjaTrader from setup.exe

    Hi,

    I have just cleared my browser cache. Downloaded the latest version of NT7:

    7.0.1000.36

    I have run the setup.exe and I get the error "Failed to download NinjaTrader".

    This is on a VPS in Chicago with a 1 ms ping, 402 Mbps download and 849 Mbps upload.

    Thanks in advance for your assistance.

    Could you please send the log and trace from your platform to look further into this inquiry?


    To send me your log and trace files from within NinjaTrader. Go to Control Center-->Help-> Mail to Platform Support in NinjaTrader. Put 'Att Shawn', in the subject field and enable 'Log and trace files'.


    Also, give a reference of this thread in the body of the email.

      I'm having the same isssue. I believe it could have something to do with the new fall update of windows 10. Windows 10 now has exploit protection built into the OS (basically EMET was for older versions of windows). You can find it in the windows defender security center under app and browser protection. I'm not a computer geek, but I'm guessing this could be the culprit.

        I'm running on Windows Server 2008 R2 Data Centre so it's not windows 10 related.
