    Demo account isn't connecting

    HI,
I downloaded NT7 today, received a demo account for futures. The program was installed correctly and it actually opens and requires the username and password that were sent to my email. But at the moment I put them in, and using the connection Ninja Trader Continuum (Demo), I press connect and nothing happens.
Note that I downloaded Parallels desktop and I'm actually using NJ7 in my mac, but it isn't working as I describe above. Please help.

    Hello PetroVargas,

    Thank you for your note.

Please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files to an email to platformsupport[AT]ninjatrader[DOT]com with "ATTN CHRIS S" in the subject line so I may investigate this matter further.
    • Open your NinjaTrader folder under Documents.
    • Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
    • Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
    • Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.
I look forward to your reply.

      Hi Chris,
My issue was solved via email by your support line. The issue was that since I installed NT7 in a virtual machine, it was sharing docs between operating systems and causing problems to log in. I stopped sharing files between the mac and windows systems and NT7 is working now.
      Great email support!!

        Hi Petro,
        I have the same problem.
Could you say how you did stop sharing files between Mac and windows?

Mac Installation - Configuring NinjaTrader for Parallels

When installing NinjaTrader on a Mac using Parallels users will need to ensure that the following steps have been taken prior to the installation of NinjaTrader.
          1. Start Parallels and select your virtual machine
          2. Press the "Configure" button on the top
          3. Under "Options", select "Sharing"
          4. Uncheck "Share Mac" under "Share Mac User Folders with Windows"
          5. Press "OK" and start the virtual machine
