Edit delete customised text from Indicator

    Hello Team,

I have some dll and *.cs file indicator, which displays some standard /static customized message, which serves no purpose.

I wish to modify text to add meaningful short actionable description, OR delete this unwarranted text which would free up / clean the space and keep chart clean.

I accessed Indicator and opened from Tools-Edit NinjaScrip - that (perhaps *.cs) file but not able to FIND the specified unwanted text message that i want to modify/delete.

How to find and remove / modify unwarranted text from Indicator, or would it be the case that it could be inside DLL file. How to edit that, I tried opening *.dll file but could not locate/find that meaningless text.

Kindly guide which file to access, find such hidden text etc and do the needful

    Thanks

    Hello,

    Thank you for the post.

If the assembly is in the form of a .dll and a .cs file, it is likely that the .cs file is just a file with method stubs and not actual source code. Please look into the .cs file to confirm this. If you are not able to tell, please post the .cs file's contents.

If this is the case, the text cannot be changed as it is compiled into the .dll and we do not support changing .dll assemblies in any way.

If the .cs file is the actual source code, then you can Control+f to search for the string you want to change.

Please let us know if we may be of any further assistance.
