New Computer - Moving Indicators

Hi,
I did spend some time searching before I posted new thread!

Question: If I buy a new PC, when transferring my indicators over, is the new machineid going to throw off my 3rd party indicators? Whenever I buy an indicator they ask for my machineid. Do I have to contact each programmer and give them my new machineid? That would be a huge pain. I hope there is a different way.

Please advise and thank you for your awesome support!

Thank you for the post.

You will, unfortunately, have to contact your vendors and let them know of your new machine ID as they are the ones who verify their software.

Thanks Chris for your quick response!

I feel this is a real problem with NT. What if the vendor goes out of business or cannot be found? Please pass along this concern that there must be a better way to do this.

There is currently no plan to change this. The verification of softwares provided by third parties is seen as the responsibility of the vendor themselves.
