Freeze Charts Positions on VM

Hello,

I have NinjaTrader 7 running in virtual environment. I use a client to login in to VM from different PCs that have their own screen resolutions. As a result, my charts get different positions depending from which PC/Laptop I log in. Is there anyway to lock chart positions, so that they do not move.

Unfortunately this is a limitation of NinjaTrader 7 and there is no known work-around.

NinjaTrader 8 is smart enough to move screens that would normally be out of view into the view of your current resolution, however, I am not certain exactly what would occur because I don't think logging into a virtual machine from different PCs with different resolutions has been tried exactly.

NinjaTrader 7 and NinjaTrader 8 are completely separate programs and can be installed on the same PC. I would encourage you to install NinjaTrader 8 to test this behavior. Please let me know the results.

Also, you may want to check with your virtual machine provider to see if there is any way to 'lock' things from that end.
