Please confirm where orders reside for Sim Trading

Hi - firstly I have read this link: https://ninjatrader.com/support/foru...ead.php?t=5349

I am on CQG, and have "Local OCO Simulation" unchecked as I want my OCO orders to reside on the server

During Sim Trading today, my OCO did not trigger after I closed NT7

Please confirm:
1. Do OCO orders placed on Live Trading Account reside on the server?
2. Do OCO orders placed on Sim Trading Account reside on my local PC?

I am concerned once I start trading live my OCO functionality will not match my sim trading

Thanks for posting.

1. What happens to your live orders in the even of a connection loss or disconnection would depend on who you are connected to as well as the state the orders themselves are in. The forum post you mentioned outlines this for the the different data providers.

2. Simulated orders would be simulated locally on your PC, so they would not be able to function in the event of a connection loss or shut down.
