ATM Strategy didn't Trigger?

Hi - on sim trading - I start NT, and an ATM Strategy is already selected although I do not click on it (it is there from initial bootup). I used hot key order chart trader to enter a trade, and the ATM strategy does NOT get placed.

Afterwards, I closed my position, clicked on the ATM Strategy (even though I didn't change anything) and used hot key order chart trader to enter a trade, and the ATM strategy works as intended.

Why does the ATM Strategy need to be "clicked"? If it is not tied to an order I am planning to submit it should default to "None", not display the ATM Strategy I have. If my selected ATM Strategy shows up, I expect it to be submitted when I place an order. With this bug, how can I verify if an ATM Strategy will be submitted or not??

What version of NinjaTrader 7 are you using? This can be found under Help -> About (Example: 7.0.1000.X)

I could not reproduce this behavior. I took the following steps:

• Open NinjaTrader 7
• Setup a connection to connect on startup (does your connection connect on startup?)
• Create a chart and enable Chart Trader
• Create an ATM strategy template named '12345' (what is the name of your ATM strategy template?)
• Setup a hotkey for Buy Market and enable 'use order entry hot keys'
• Restart NinjaTrader
• The chart starts with ATM '12345' selected
• Use the hot key to buy market

The ATM is applied to the market order as expected.

Do you agree that these would be relevant steps to reproduce the issue? if not, what would you recommend?

I am using version 37. After trying a few times, I think I found the culprit.

I have two trading windows open, same instrument, global crosshair:
#1 - with Chart Trader
#2 - without Chart Trader

I must have clicked on #2, then entered using hotkey. The order shows up on both charts. However chart #2 (after checking settings) has None on the ATM Strategy.

Is there a way to enable a Global ATM Strategy across all open charts, or all linked charts?

There is no means to set up an ATM Strategy to work or be set across all Order Entry windows.

There is no means to disable Hot Keys on individual charts. Hot Keys will be active across the platform.
