Hi Rob,

As it stands, the only solution I know of would be to re-install eSignal.

Can you run a search on your hard drive to see if either of these files exist?

Thanks for the quick reply. I have re-installed both twice on a clean XP pro drive. I searched for the following files

dbcapi.dll it was found in esignal and ninjatrader6.5/bin
implode.dll it was also found in both esignal and nt

I have tried everything on my windows 7 32 bit drive and now this xp drive...I guess I have no choice but to cancel Esignal as my sense of humour has a limit.

I loaded Esignal first. Then loaded Ninja and walked away for about 10 minutes. When I came back I connected esignal and voila it worked.....Its a miracle.

Had this same issue myself. Im not sure if this is the actual reason or it just worked by chance in my case, but there are known issues with Esignal v11 and connectivity to 3rd party applications (excel, NT etc). Esignal reccomend running v10.6 When I reinstalled it Ninja Trader fired up perfect first time.
So my advice if you are getting this error with Esignal v11 is to try it with Esignal v10.6 before giving up.

I had the same problem. I solved it when I'm installed 10.6 as a 2. esignal installation and it works without a new reinstall of NT.

i overwrote the 2 dll files in NJ dir with the 2 from the esignal dir and it connected.. probably a version issue.. cheers
