'Micro E-mini Futures' contracts

We are excited about the announcement from CME regarding the new Micro E-mini Futures contracts and expect to offer these products to customers right away. We are still awaiting certain details from the exchange but anticipate communicating full details once they are available.
From the platform perspective, NinjaTrader 8 would receive automated database updates. NinjaTrader 7 will require an update to the platform. We do not have a hard set timeline for this instrument support, but expect these products to be available.

Will my NT7 be ready to trade the Macros starting on May 6th?

To NT8 ??? or just instruments DB ??????

You should be able to add things manually.
And since there have been no updates since January - they aren't ready!

Tried executing a MES trade and getting Message "....Rejected at RMS - Product code not permissioned(MES) affected Order:...."
But I assume this is something my broker has to permit !?

Anytime you see any unexpected behavior with your live orders, I recommend you contact your Orders Desk immediately to confirm or manage your live positions.
I'd like to see your log and trace files. Please send me a note to platformsupport (at) ninjatrader (dot) com. Attach your most current log and trace files to the email, and put a link to this forum post in the body of the email. Please note "ATTN: Drew" in the body of the response.
You will find the log file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Log folder.
The log file will be named "log.20190506.txt"
You will find the trace file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.
The trace file will be named "trace.20190506.txt"
