    New version doesn't install

    I can't install the newest version of NT.

    Give me a error:Failed to download NinjaTrade and Download doesn't start.

    Hello Fernando,

    Could you please clear your browser cache (cookies, temporary internet files, etc) and try the donwload again.

    In addition, please check for software, such as (corporate) firewalls, pop up blockers and anti-virus software, that could be blocking the download.

      Doesn't work yet

      Even so it doesn't work.

      There is other way to have the new rollover contract of Decembre 08?

      I have NT 6.5 but TF (ICE Russell mini) doesn't work

        Hello Fernando,

        Unfortunately, you will need to have the latest version, 6.5.1000.6, installed in order to trade the TF. Note, verify at the link below if your connectivity provider supports the TF at the link below.


        The screenshot you posted in your initial post is not visible. Could you please try to re-post the image.

        In addition, am I correct in understanding your still have a current version of NinjaTrader installed on your computer?

          Last version install

          I already instaled the application from my broker PFG but on the link say that we need last version.

          Last version is the problem.

          I don't know cut the anti virus AVG or on the Windows Security Center do you? Firewall is down already.

              I can download and install the latest version on my end. I just tested this at another customer and it worked as well.

              Unfortunately, I have other commitments that prevents me from calling you at this moment however, could you please tell me if you currently have an older version of NinjaTrader installed.

              Check with the vendor of the anti-virus software how to temporarily disable it.

              If you use a router, please connect your computer directly to your modem and check if this will make a difference.

                Last version install

                I only have version 6.5 instaled and the PFG Best API application.

                I use a router as well.

                Do you think is the router?

                  It could be the router. I have worked with a customer before that had a similar issue. We disabled the router and she was able to download NinjaTrader successful from there. Most likely, a built-in firewall was blocking the NinjaTrader download.

                    TF symbol doesn't work

                    TF symbol doesn't work. When I try to open a new chart of TF (mini ICE Russell) actual contract appear an errorn loading chart data for "TF 12-08 Nybot" instrument not supported.

                    The same for the EMD (S&P 400 m cap)

                    YM; NQ; GC works actual contracts.

                    I have now the last version instaled.

                      Can you please remove the TF and EMD from your instrument list in the Instrument Manager. Go to Tools-->Options-->Misc-tab and click Reset Instruments. Add the TF and EMD back to your list and check again.

                      If the error persists, please tell me if you receive data in the Control Center for these contracts and please confirm you are authorized with your broker to trade these instruments.

                        Thanks.

                        I already have the newest version installed but continues appear a massage on start NT that say "New version available and contract rollover information" w/link for download. This is normal? If I choose Don't show this shall I be advised for real new versions?

                          Please select "Don't Show" and it should not appear the next time you start NinjaTrader. However, you will be notified if we release new versions or have other important notifications.

                            TF Chart doesn't open frozen

                            Thanks.

                            I still try open TF chart. So far it is Retreving data for TF 12-08 for 25 min. It say The request can not be aborted.

                            what I must do? Wait?

                            Other sybols doesn't have any problem.

                            EMD; YM; NQ; GC; CL but TF.

                              TF Chart loading

                              After 30min TF chart passed for saving fase but is froxen for more than 15min so far.

                              This is normal? Why this hapens?
