    Thank you for your post.

    I understand that you updated NinjaTrader and are now unable to connect.

    Please write into to PlatformSupport[AT]NinjaTrader[DOT]Com along with your log and trace files and a link to this forum post.

    Include ticket number 2181287 ATTN Kate in the body of the email.

    Please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files to your response so I may investigate this matter further.
    Open your NinjaTrader folder under Documents.
    Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
    Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
    Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.


    We look forward to assisting further.

    Hoy he actualizado Ninja Trader 7 y al abrirla no se conecta, me dice que el usuario o el pasword no son correctos, como conectarla

    Thank you for your reply.

    Please shut down and restart NinjaTrader, but before connecting, please first try an instrument reset.

    To reset your instruments please follow the steps below.
    • Disconnect from your data feed: NinjaTrader Control Center> File> Disconnect> Select your data feed.
    • Reset your Instruments: NinjaTrader Control Center> Tools> Options> Data tab> Reset Instruments>OK.
    • Restart NinjaTrader> Connect (NinjaTrader Control Center> File> Connect> Select your connection.
    Do you still get this error upon connecting after the reset?

    Hello,

    thank you for your reply. When I connect to continuum there appear the attached window, hundred times? clicking OK and again and again

    Hello tonynt,

    Thank you for your post.

    You can do this by copying your license key from your existing install (Help > License Key) then shutting down NinjaTrader 7. Once it's closed, go into your Documents folder and rename the current NinjaTrader 7 folder to something else, like "NinjaTrader 7 Original" or something like that.

    Once you've done that, go to https://ninjatrader.com/PlatformDirect and put in your license key. Download a new installer and run it.

    When this is complete, start up NinjaTrader 7. You'll now be using your secondary Documents folder and can set up your workspaces, connections, etc. To switch back, name this new folder in your Documents folder to something else while NinjaTrader is closed, and rename the original one back to NinjaTrader 7, then run NinjaTrader again.

    Hello,

    I need a new installation of NT7 so that I have this "fresh" NT7 and my current installation both in the documents folder. I had this on another computer so that with doing rename of "NinjaTrader 7" to another name I could switch between both installations always having one of both with name "NinjaTrader 7".

    But I do not remember what need to be done to have 2 NT7 in documents folder.
