Error 201

While trying to launch a new strategy I get this error:

24/09/2008 14:19:28,Order,Order rejected - reason:Invalid Price (201) Affected Order: Buy ******** Limit @ 1.46283

I also get this error while trying to place a Limit order with the Chart Trader, except if I set the price at the exact pib.
If I see 1.4628'3 and I send the order, I get the error.
If I see 1.4628'0 and I send the order, everything works ok.
I am connected to Interactive Brokers.

I could not reproduce.

What instrument are you trading?

Does this happen when you are connected to the simulated data feed as well?

Try repairing your database: Tools --> Options --> Misc --> Repair DB

The instrument is EURUSD, and it happens when I am connected.
As it happens in reall-time I guess it is not a matter of the DB, isn't it?

I have tested and can place trades for tenth pibs.


Please try repairing your NinjaTrader Installation:
1. Shut Down NinjaTrader
2. Go to Uninstall Programs in the Windows Control Panel
3. Select NinjaTrader and hit the "repair" button

I am afraid in XP we just have "Remove" button, not repair...

Then you will have to unistall NinjaTrader6.5 and reinstall using this link:

Hi again!
I amb afraid problems still occur, as soon as I am trading again with EURUSD.
I am using the new version of NT.
My DB was also repaired.
I get the message 30% of the trades: it seems to depend on the price precision...
¿?
Any idea about where else I can check?

Try 2 things:

1.) Try all settings under Tools --> Options --> Misc --> "Quote currencies (FX) in:"

2.) Test in the Sim account, does the error appear hear as well?

It didn't appear in SIM mode.
I will try it live...as soon I see a setup but I sure you hit the nail.
