can i reload ninja7 without losing anything?

my ninja7 is mis-behaving. can i reload ninja7 [if so, how do i do it?] without losing anything [i.e.] it will not be apparent that i have done the re-load other than that hopefully ninja7 is working smoothly again?

Yes, NT7 can be reloaded without losing any saved settings. Please update NinjaTrader 7 and reset your instruments using the steps below:
First, to update NinjaTrader, please follow the steps below:

• First, get your license key from NinjaTrader under Help> License Key then exit NinjaTrader
• Click on the link: http://ninjatrader.com/PlatformDirect
• Enter your license key and press Submit
• Select 'NinjaTrader 7'
• Select 'Download'
• Critical: Before running the installer, ensure NinjaTrader is closed.

Lastly, to reset your instruments, please follow the steps below:

• Disconnect from your data feed: NinjaTrader Control Center> File> Disconnect> Select your data feed
• Reset your Instruments: NinjaTrader Control Center> Tools> Options> Data tab> Reset Instruments>OK
• Restart NinjaTrader> Connect (NinjaTrader Control Center> File> Connect> Select your connection

i now have the setup application in my downloads folder. to make sure i clearly understand and know what i'm doing...
SHOULD I RUN THE SETUP APPLICATION, THEN START NINJA OR WILL NINJA ALREADY HAVE
BEEN AUTOMATICALLY RESTARTED? AFTER NINJA IS RESTARTED EITHER AUTOMATICALLY
OR BY ME, THEN I ASSUME I SHOULD DO THE STEPS LISTED BELOW [I.E.] DO THE DATA FEED
DISCONNECT, INSTRUMENT RESET, AND NINJA RESTART. IS ALL I HAVE JUST SAID MAKE SENSE
AND IS IT CORRECT?

Your understanding is correct.

Please close NinjaTrader and run the installer. After the installer finishes, please restart NinjaTrader and take the advised steps to reset instruments. Finally, please restart the platform.
